The washed coffee process, also known as the wet process, is a more modern and efficient method. Cherries are pulped to remove the skin, fermented in water to remove mucilage, then washed and sun-dried.

An experimental method involving fermenting coffee beans in a sealed, oxygen-free environment. This creates unique, complex flavor profiles by allowing specific bacteria and yeasts to flourish during fermentation.

Natural Process
The most traditional method. Ripe cherries are harvested and sun-dried for weeks. The fruit dries around the bean, infusing it with natural sugars before the hulling process removes the dried skin.
